I was born in Athens in 1982 and growing up among doctors, I soon discovered my interest in patient care and scientific research. After graduating from Athens College, I studied at the Medical School of the University of Crete, where I graduated with honours in 2007.

Subsequently, I trained in Ophthalmology at the Hospital of Corinth and the 2nd University Eye Clinic of Athens. At the same time I started my collaboration with the Athens Vision Eye Clinic where I was trained in refractive surgery (laser myopia correction) and undertook the design and implementation of clinical research protocols. After that, my special involvement with glaucoma began by apprenticing alongside renowned glaucoma specialists in the treatment of challenging glaucoma cases. Completing my training in 2016, I successfully passed the Greek and European board exams and was named Ophthalmic Surgeon and Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology.

In 2018, I joined the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, where I specialized in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and the management of complex cataract surgery cases.

In London, I also attended seminars on injectable treatments in cosmetic ophthalmology (Botox and Fillers), as well as the famous Moorfields training programme in refractive surgery.

In 2021, after 20 years of studies, surgical training, publications in scientific journals and presentations in national and international conferences, I founded my private practice in Kifissia, where I offer my services to new and old patients with a great sense of responsibility and respect for the patient. At the same time, I continue my collaboration as a Medical Associate with the Athens Vision Ophthalmology Clinic and remain an Honorary Consultant for Moorfields Eye Hospital.

I am a member of the Athens Medical Association, the UK General Medical Council, the French National Medical Council, as well as the Greek Ophthalmology Society, the Greek Glaucoma Society and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
